1986

The Rover Girls
Clarendon Hammersmith

An amazing clip of a teenage Emma playing bass in The Rover Girls, two years before she formed Lush with Miki. She can be seen briefly several times throughout the video.

During this time Miki was in The Bugs, unfortunately no video is known to exist.

The entire musical lineage for all the members of Lush can be seen in the Lush Family Tree.

Spencer and the Cannibals Documentary
This was the only known Miki post-Lush appearance at the time.

From The Other Side:Trail of Trash, a documentary about Spencer and The Cannibals which aired on September 12, 2000 on Channel Four. (thanks to Carl S for this info)

This was posted on YouTube by Andy of the VPME Music Blog at a time when everyone was wondering whatever happened to Miki of Lush, and he deserves much thanks!

Miki sings on stage for the first time in 17 years!

Miki appears on stage with the band Hard Skin to sing "You Still Here?" from their new album "Why Do Birds Suddenly Appear" on which she did guest vocals.

The introduction to Miki starts at 3:40 minutes. She's holding the lyrics and a band member tells her "Nevermind the lyrics, just swear!"

A note from Miki when she recorded the vocals back in the summer of 2012:

"Just wanted to let you know that I did a vocal on a rather unlikely recording the other day. One of the last things Chris played drums on was Hard Skin - a punk band. They've just done a record and have a 'female' version with women singing, and I'm one of them. It was very hilarious - and I had a very good time singing it, but it's about as far away from Lush as you could possibly get (sort of) and has a hell of a lot of swearing on it!"

Miki on stage with Phil for the first time in 18 years
The Troxy in London

Miki sings on "Just Like Honey" with The Jesus and Mary Chain, which Phil has been a member of for several years. They can be seen standing together at the far left of the stage.

Miki on stage with Phil again, at the Roundhouse

Miki again sings on "Just Like Honey" with The Jesus and Mary Chain. A reunited Lush will perform on this same stage exactly one year later.
